The purpose of this work-based qualification is to demonstrate candidate’s ability to develop interactions with advice and guidance clients and understand the importance of legislation, procedures and complying with national, local, professional and organisational requirements.
It is suitable for candidates who are being introduced to an Information Advice and Guidance role and provides an understanding of the functions of advice and guidance in practice and can be used as a start point to then later progress to the Level 3 Diploma in Information Advice and Guidance.
Requires 7 credits for full certification – to be agreed.
Studied via distance learning and is also available as a group delivered course for organisations.
