The purpose of this work-based qualification is to demonstrate the competence of experienced practitioners who work directly with clients, disseminating information, advice, guidance and formal advocacy at Level 4. Candidates might also have some managerial or training responsibilities. They could also be creators of information, advice and guidance, either disseminating information themselves as practitioners or through their organisation in the form of publications.
It is suitable for those whose work includes clear guidelines in the practice of advice and guidance and who are working in designated advice and/or guidance organisations who work giving advice and guidance and whose role it is to provide information that is often interpreted by others and for anyone who is looking to make sure the service they deliver is working effectively. At this level candidates are expected to have a more dynamic relationship with other organisations and networks.
Requires 37 credits for full certification – to be agreed.
Studied via distance learning and is also available as a group delivered course for organisations.
