Data Protection and Data Security Principles Level 2 Certificate

The purpose of this qualification is to increase the candidate’s knowledge & awareness of working with personal data, understanding the laws & acts and being compliant. By completing the qualification, candidates will develop knowledge of compliance in a variety of sectors/environments where they have a duty of care.

Comprises of three units:

Unit 1 - Understanding threats to ICT systems and data
Unit 2 - Understanding data protection legislation
Unit 3 - Understand the consequences of not protecting data
Unit 4 - Principles of organisational data procedures

Studied via distance learning and is also available as a group delivered course for organisations.
