The purpose of this work-based qualification is to provide candidates with the knowledge and skills they need to operate as a successful facilities manager and to confirm competence of those already fulfilling a facilities management role.
It is suitable for candidates to develop skills in a range of areas relevant to facilities management roles, such as monitoring facilities, developing and implementing a risk assessment, procurement of supplies, manage teams & performance, maintain property and assets and recruitment + other optional units. The objectives of this qualification are to help learners to develop the skills and qualities valued in managers by employers and understand & work on their strengths and weaknesses as a facilities manager.
