The purpose of this work-based qualification is to provide candidates with the technological knowledge & understanding they need to demonstrate in facilities management & leadership roles and to confirm knowledge competence of those already fulfilling a facilities management & leadership role.
It is suitable for those candidates who wish to demonstrate technical knowledge & understanding in a range of areas relevant to facilities management & leadership roles, such as impacts, compliance and communication of legislation & regulation, understanding the marketplace and services, planning estates, mobilising facilities management contracts and the principles of management & leadership.
The qualification may be used by a candidate who is looking to move into a management & leadership role or is looking to move into the sector.
Requires 27 credits for full certification – to be agreed.
