Assessing Competence in the Work Environment Level 3 Award

This qualification is intended for Assessors who assess occupational competence in an individual's work environment. It includes a candidate making assessment judgements of the following assessment methods: observation of performance in the work environment, examining products of work, questioning the learner, discussing with the learner, use of others (witness testimony), learner statements and recognising prior learning.

It is suitable for candidates to provide the essential knowledge and understanding that assessment staff require for work-place assessment.

Requires 9 credits for full certification – to be agreed.

Studied via distance learning and is also available as a group delivered course for organisations.
