The purpose of the qualification is to develop and meet the required competence needed to work in the retail industry as a manager and is ideal for those working in a managerial or senior managerial role, or who wish to progress in their retail sales career to this level. It is also suitable for adult learners to complete as a stand-alone qualification to confirm occupational competence whilst working in a senior management role in retail.

It is suitable for candidates to develop skills & competence in a range of areas relevant to retail management roles, such as management of customer service in retail, performance management, project management, installing window displays, strategic management and using digital channels, platforms and social networks to deliver marketing communications - advertising

Requires 40 credits for full certification – to be agreed.

Studied via distance learning and is also available as a group delivered course for organisations.
