Level 2 - Understanding Safeguarding & Prevent Certificate

The purpose of this qualification is to increase the candidate’s knowledge & awareness of the Prevent Duty and safeguarding, including online safety. By completing the qualification, candidates will develop knowledge of safeguarding in a variety of sectors/environments where they have a duty of care and is not restricted to just educational settings.

Comprises of three units:

Unit 1 - Understanding Prevent Duty
Unit 2 - Understanding On-Line Safety
Unit 3 - Understanding Safeguarding

Studied via distance learning and is also available as a group delivered course for organisations.
