The purpose of this work-based qualification is to confirm candidate’s competence in their role and demonstrate in the workplace the skills & knowledge required in the warehousing and storage industry. 

It is suitable for candidates to develop, build on and improve your overall understanding of warehouse operations. There are four mandatory units for this qualification

· Take responsibility for health, safety and security in your team

· Provide leadership for your team in logistics operations 

· Contribute to the provision of customer service in logistics operations 

· Supervise the receipt, storage or dispatch of goods 

The remaining units within the qualification are optional units, and as such will reflect your areas of interest in developing or improving and include using equipment, stock records, recycling/disposal of goods in logistics operations, recruitment, scheduling logistics operations to meet customer’s requirements and traffic office management.

Requires 40 credits for full certification – to be agreed.

Studied via distance learning and is also available as a group delivered course for organisations.
